Impact on faith
Thanks to the texts of Maria Valtorta, I perceive the people who surround Jesus as alive. I feel their emotions, the environment, the sensations, the expressions. This allowed me to immerse myself in the daily life of Jesus. I felt like I was with him, living with him, and that he was speaking to me. I felt included in the life of Jesus.
I got to know a sensitive Jesus, loving his disciples, understanding the love he has for Mary, and also the love and patience he showed to Judas (the one who betrayed him).
I loved Jesus a little more each time I read more of the texts. I wanted to understand the depth of Jesus, as if obsessed with the desire to know more about him, about his surroundings, about his way of acting.
I accepted him as a true example, a gentle father and of a wisdom that deeply touches my heart.
Graces received
Allowed me to take the blood of Christ and the sacrament more seriously. Indeed, the texts are very detailed about how Judas betrays Jesus and how he is insulted on the cross. It's so hard to hear that we realize the suffering of Jesus; the pain seems to be so intense that it becomes unbearable to listen to. But, strangely, the thirst to understand Christ gives us the strength to go all the way. I take more time to pray inwardly, because I understood that dialogues with God are very important. I respect Jesus, Mary, and others more, because I understand better what they went through. I understood that if I really wanted to follow Jesus, I had to trust him and love him at every moment.

Additional testimony
In a youth session, they prayed over me invoking the Holy Spirit. I prayed on my knees before the Holy Sacrament. There were adults praying, and a woman had words of knowledge for me. She kept repeating "I love you, I love you, you are my beloved daughter", and at one point, she said that I was pouring out a particular fragrance. She also spoke, at one point, about light. I did not understand, as I did not know what the meaning was. The evening continued, as did the prayers. When I got home, I wanted to understand why, in the words of knowledge, they told me that I was pouring out a particular fragrance. I do not know the Bible well, let alone the details. So first, I search the Internet for "who, in the Bible, poured out perfume?". I see Mary of Bethany. I think that in the texts of Maria Valtorta, I could understand the meaning, because they are often detailed, even in the small gestures. I come across the site Valtorta.fr, on the passage The Anointing of Bethany. I read, and I understand: God wanted to make a connection with my conversion.
