It was my daughter-in-law who lent me the 10 volumes of 'The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me' almost 5 years ago. I was immediately captivated by this work, which recounts the Gospels in extraordinary detail that only a seer could report. I have read the 10 volumes twice. I revisit certain passages from time to time depending on the circumstances.
I discovered a human and Divine Jesus. The revelations of the seer are so realistic that the story is superbly captivating, I discovered the riches as well as the teachings of Jesus himself. His explanations on the Sermon on the Mount or on the Our Father are simple and direct. What the canonical Gospels evoke in 1 page, Jesus develops in several pages sometimes.
I feel more intimate with the person of Jesus and especially with Mary, my mother from heaven. I am more 'present' at mass, especially during the Consecration when I relive the scenes of the Passion as revealed by Jesus himself. The conversion is quite profound...
I would highly recommend it to him. Buy the first volume and let yourself be enlightened by the Spirit of God. Enter into this work, immerse yourself in it. Your life of Faith will change. Let yourself be guided by Jesus himself.
I have even prepared a small booklet on Saint Joseph according to Maria Valtorta, to better acquaint people with the "beloved father" of Jesus, as He himself named him.

I discovered the work while searching for God. A Divine inspiration led me to order the first volume. I bought all the others in stride. As well as the notebooks, the journals, the lessons on the epistle of St. Paul to the Romans (which I am currently reading).
The work offers us the chance to live in the time of Christ, to become one of his apostles. We truly meet and discover everyone: the sweet and pure Mary, the humor and impulsivity of Peter, the wisdom of John, the extreme kindness of Christ. It's an incredible work and I thank God for letting me discover it.
I was baptized as a child, but I grew up in an atheist family, even clearly anticlerical, where the name of Jesus had never been pronounced. But as a young adult, these questions interested me a lot, I was searching for God. I read the Bible (and other religions) but it was not enough to convert me, I found the Old Testament so hard, I had trouble associating it with the God I felt. After reading Maria Valtorta, I went through my catechumenate, I received my first communion and my confirmation.
During my catechumenate, I met some cautious people at work, they did not want to hear about it until the Church had approved it. I then told them that it was really a pity for them to deprive themselves of this great grace. May the work be approved by the Church in their lifetime.
While I was reading Maria Valtorta, I was reading (rereading) the Gospels in parallel. Maria's visions detail scenes that help us better understand the attitude of Christ and his detractors. It's extraordinarily rich. The love of Jesus is supernatural, not human. It is beyond what we know.

My older sister showed me the first book, "The Life of the God-Man". After that, I bought all the available books in Dutch, because I live in Flanders, I am Dutch-speaking, that's why my writing below is always poorer than if it were written in my mother tongue.
My heart has merged with my Jesus and his Mother, the Gospel has become clearer to me, my love for the Word could only grow. The life of Marziam, the life of the apostles, to believe again in the miracles of God, which today always require a scientific explanation, humanity has forgotten that God performs miracles, miracles of Love. Yes, the love of God, of Jesus and his Mother for us all.
I experience the Eucharist much more intensely; I am learning to be more tolerant; I am happy, I pray more. My commitment to His Church is greater. No matter how much time it costs me or what others say, I want to give as much as possible to God. Sometimes my friends do not understand a text from the Gospel, so I explain how the subject is written in Maria Valtorta so they can understand better. I pray that their hearts may be touched by Love. Unfortunately, some friends turn away or say they do not have time to read, as it does not affect them. Too many friends interpret the Gospel as they see fit; they do not believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, they do not want to believe that Evil exists, nor in the existence of hell and purgatory, and they think that everyone will go to heaven. I cannot let my husband and children read the work either, but I continue to pray and speak. The work is visible at home and I hope that one day my husband will pick up a book, start reading, and discover the love of God.
Read the work with an open heart and in humility; then the love of Jesus for you will flow, but also his justice, Jesus teaches us to orient ourselves again towards the ten commandments, we must learn to accept again that life is given to us by God and that we do not have the right to do only what we want.
For me, a small believer, nothing in the work contradicts the Gospel. However, when I sometimes hear the homily of priests or the explanations of Bible readers, I say to myself: "No, Jesus explains it differently, Jesus explains love with love, ... But also that God is justice, which people do not like to hear these days." I continue to pray for the Pope to speak openly and authorize the reading of the work. May Maria Valtorta be declared blessed for having given her life to Christ.

It is the work of God and not of man. A magnificent work that wants to enlighten us and complete the Gospels. God never ceases to extend His hand to save us from eternal death. To believe in Him, to love Him and to love others with a true and respectful love, is to save our soul. Too many idols, falsehoods, attachments to earthly goods disturb our souls in these times and distance us from God. Jesus, the incarnate Word, shows me God's love for His poor creatures who have received His Soul. God does not want our death, He wants our life in Him forever. That is why He gives us once again a path of holiness. Learning to know and love God more and more through this work is a blessing. Thank you, Lord.
I realize my poor love towards God and my neighbors. May God help me to have an ever more perfect love.
Do not hesitate, it will be a joy for your heart if you read with an open and welcoming mind.

It was my wife who introduced it to me; She is very curious about everything and she told me about it during a shared breakfast several years ago.
Every morning, I read the Gospel of the day on the "Marie de Nazareth" website, then the Gospel according to Maria Valtorta and the "Deepen" text. This illuminates the Gospel text and goes further; I feel even closer to Jesus. When a Gospel is more difficult to understand, Jesus explains it through Maria. I feel more of Jesus' humanity (reading the Passion made my wife and me cry).
My wife and I talk about it almost every morning, and it strengthens us in our prayers and in our life; we can't help but talk about it to those around us whenever the opportunity arises.
Firstly, I explain how Maria Valtorta was led to write to make it understood that it is not possible that she could have invented it. My wife or I, we offer to send them the text of the day.
As a community servant in my parish, I had the opportunity to introduce Maria Valtorta during an evening in the Lenten season with the agreement of our pastor who was of course present. My pastor asked me to lead another evening on "the sharing of the Word". I was able to illuminate the chosen Gospel with the corresponding text from Maria Valtorta. I feel the need to introduce Maria Valtorta and Jesus himself asks us to do so.

Through a friend who already knew the work well and who advised me to delve into it while I was returning from a pilgrimage in the Holy Land.
Maria Valtorta's work allows us to see how Jesus lives, reacts, looks, touches, loves. It has helped me to get closer to Jesus, to embody him in my faith, to love him better. The events follow logically, we can make connections between the events, the encounters, the places, the characters, and what teaches me a lot are the teachings that Jesus gives on certain passages. He explains why He reacts as He does, how He wants us to live, He draws our attention to particular points, He truly guides us.
I have subscribed to "Jesus Today", and thus I receive the daily reading as related in the Gospel every day. I supplement my reading with the same story related by Maria Valtorta, sometimes I go to read what follows or precedes on the Valtorta.fr site to better understand the context and better experience the passage. This makes my faith life more vibrant and deepens in me the desire to better know Jesus and the will of God, it also helps me to become more aware of my sins, to desire to confess.
I would tell him "Go ahead, dive in! Read... and you'll see!"

I discovered Maria's work through the HOZANNA website.
Maria's work makes me live and understand the texts of the Gospels. I feel, I no longer try to imagine (this was sometimes very arduous) the unfolding of a scene, I live it. I cry, I smile, I am moved. I am present, I observe and everything becomes clear.
I feel closer to our Lord, I can address him without restraint because I know, through this reading, what he thinks of our human feelings. He understands them, explains them to us, and gives us simple explanations, those that we should follow to continue to follow him on his path of life. There is no complacency in what he dictates, just simple truth.
Reading the work of Maria VALTORTA is to live the Gospel as close to the events as possible, to understand them, to feel them and to emerge from them spiritually grown.
Reading this work is a great joy, I discover Jesus, Mary, and the apostles in their daily lives. The details of the places, the feelings of each one, the description of each scene allows me to understand and discover the texts of the Bible in a different way. Reading it, I feel close to each of them, moreover, the recitation of the rosary is enriched by it.

For about fifteen years, thanks to the internet, I discovered the writings of Maria Valtorta.
Every day, after my morning prayer, I read and reread the chapter of the day. This allows me to get closer to Jesus, the Virgin Mary, the apostles, the disciples, and all those who accompanied Jesus during the three years of his public life.
These readings allow me to strengthen my faith.
I will tell him the good that the discovery of this work has brought me in terms of faith.

My father, a deep believer, lent me one by one the 10 books of M Valtorta.
Some of the most striking texts for me, which I meditated on and did not always understand the essence of, became clearer and more comprehensible with the narratives of Maria Valtorta and Jesus became closer than ever.
Indeed, Faith in my head became Faith in my heart, a more intense desire to receive the Eucharist, and the sacrament of reconciliation, to go to Mass during the week as soon as possible, with a sincere heart and rooted in prayer.
Read. It's a wonder to discover, but take your time and pray over the passages that touch you deeply.
Discover a Jesus so human, in his context of the time, with his feelings, his desires, his sufferings his friendships, in short a Jesus who resembles us and who loves us personally deeply. This is for me the essence of this work... Thank you Maria Valtorta. Jesus, Love and Life.

By the association Marie de Nazareth and the sending of its daily email "Jesus Today". At first, I didn't know what to think of Maria Valtorta's work, then I read that Saint Mother Teresa always had with her a copy of "The Gospel as it has been revealed to me" by Maria Valtorta. I have great trust in Mother Teresa and this greatly reassured me in my reading.
I now read the "Jesus Today" email every day, first the Gospel in the strict sense, then the corresponding text in the writings of Maria Valtorta (The Gospel as it was revealed to me, then the commentary). This nourishes my faith daily, enlightens me, and helps me to let myself be gently transformed by the Lord.
When I was young, I was a practicing Catholic but then I drifted away from the Church. Gradually, I felt my heart hardening and one day I decided to make a general confession. Since then, I confess quite regularly, I read "Jesus Today" almost every day and I go back to mass on Sundays and sometimes even during the week and I practice the Hour of Presence at the Heart of Jesus (Guard of Honor of the Sacred Heart-Paray le Monial). My husband, who comes from a non-practicing family (he was just baptized and made his first communion on our wedding day) now goes to mass every Sunday with me and reads "Jesus Today" every day with me or we read it together. My father-in-law, now 86 years old, who has always been quite reluctant about the Church and only went to mass with us at Christmas, recently asked us to be buried at the Church with a mass if possible.
As Mother Teresa replied to a journalist: Read this work and see!
