Through the videos on YouTube and then through the 3 books The Notebooks (1943, 1944, and 1945-50) that I bought and read in their entirety.
This reading teaches me to know the Trinity and the purpose of Creation. I discover Jesus who speaks, who speaks to us and teaches us, and all the people of the Bible. It is a reading that enriches me with words of Love, where Good reigns, and it helps me move towards God by knowing Him better and better thanks to Jesus' explanations regarding the Bible.
I was baptized, I made my first communion with the fourth-grade class. My parents had no religious practice, but my grandmother was very devout. So I spent 40 years in the desert searching for answers to my existential questions in areas related to the paranormal, occultism, and other Eastern religions... But it never satisfied me because the ego dominated. I perceived that the focus was on the Self... and little on the good of others... I had received all the answers when I was young (catechism) but there was like a veil preventing me from seeing the Truth, it took a depression and watching videos of Maria Valtorta to reopen my eyes and ears!!

I discovered "The Gospel as Revealed to Me" by Maria Valtorta, through a very prayerful friend I met upon my return to faith and an evangelical life after a period of wandering. I gradually bought the 10 volumes.

"In the middle of the journey of our life," 7 years ago, I was catapulted out of ordinary life due to a terminal cancer illness. A progressively strong awakening of spirituality exploded within me: initially, the rereading of the Gospel according to Luke, then the first pilgrimage to Medjugorje, then the pilgrimage to the holy places in the Holy Land, and finally the reading of the work of Maria Valtorta. The reading of Maria Valtorta was the closing of the circle: returning from the Holy Land and finding in the work the places where I had just been gave me a granite-like concreteness about the truth of Christ's existence. It allowed me to attribute a human dimension to all the people who came into contact with Jesus, with their doubts, falls, thoughts: I could have been one of them. The work is a compendium of Christ's teachings expressed in simple and disarming language: I couldn't resist and made a small "summary" of 40 pages with all the teachings of life, which changed my existence! It is a monumental work!

I discovered the writings of Maria Valtorta through the internet more than 15 years ago on a forum. Despite the criticism, I decided to start reading: it saved me both humanly and spiritually.
Reading the entirety of Maria Valtorta's writings has instructed me in the Catholic faith (through Thomistic doctrine) and erased the poverty of the "catechism" that was given to me as a child. Reading Maria Valtorta's writings has imparted to me both a great sensitivity (attention) to the reading of the canonical Gospel texts, but also the Old Testament and a "3D vision." Afterwards, I underwent a long period of purification, sometimes very painful, and faced serious health problems: this led me to desire a particular consecration. I made private vows until my death.
In a few months of reading, I had the unwavering desire to attend mass every Sunday even though I knew nothing. It became unthinkable for me not to go. My 10-year-old daughter asked for baptism herself, and I sought confirmation that I hadn't received. Frequent confessions. Frequent Holy Communion. Daily prayer of the rosary, Lauds, and Vespers.

Very marked by the vision of the young Roman mother of a very small daughter abandoned by her (Roman) husband to whom Jesus asks to remain alone even in the event of divorce, I made the decision not to seek to "rebuild" my life with someone after my husband decided to leave, wanting to stay alone with Christ. By chance, or rather, by the Lord's decision: I came across a post that featured excerpts and I decided to first purchase the Gospel, then the Notebooks and the other works, including the Autobiography.
Reading the Gospel has allowed me to know Jesus more deeply. The Gospels are the Only Revelation, but knowing the context in which the events they report took place made me feel the Lord close, and I truly lived together with Him, with the Most Holy Mary, the Apostles, and all the characters who accompanied Him in His Earthly Journey. And knowing Jesus means loving Him. Prayer, the daily Holy Mass have become necessary for me. And this has led me to pay more attention to the events of my life, so much so that I always find answers to my doubts, comfort, and hope. The Lord has a wonderful imagination: He helps me in ever new ways through readings, homilies, or events, even simple but enlightening ones. And so I know that coincidences do not exist but GOD-INCIDENCES and that we always have His Sweet Presence beside us: we just need to learn to listen to Him.
As I have already said, spirituality has taken a fundamental place in my life and with it a deep serenity, joy, and hope in every situation.
I would recommend trying with one volume: buy the first one and let Jesus do the rest. Reading the complete work in print is the best option, much more so than stopping at reading the posts from the Foundation: not because they are not useful for getting a first idea, but because the Lord Himself, in the work, says that it was meant to be read in its entirety. And you will be won over by the Lord.

I discovered the work through 2 means: the documentary "Miracle" by Pierre Barnérias and the testimonies of Florian Boucansaud.
The Gospel as it was revealed to me did not nurture my love for the Gospel; it was after reading the work that I was finally able to start reading the Gospel. I had never read it before! Maria Valtorta's work gave me a thirst to know the Gospel, to read it, and finally to be nourished by it. Regarding Christ, the work allowed me to get closer to him. To learn to know him in the heart. To weep for him. And above all, to understand the importance that the creation of the Church had in his eyes. How much it is his Church. This also reconciled me with the Church, the masses, and the sacraments.
I have rediscovered the faith of my childhood. Having lived through violence, indecency (priest pedophilia), guilt-tripping, etc... I had the image of an unappealing God. Angry with Him, I turned my back on the Church for several years. With Maria Valtorta, I discovered a God completely opposite to the one I had been shown. I talk about it a lot while considering that if the person refuses, it's their right. All roads lead to Rome. But if it doesn't do any good, it doesn't do any harm, so there's no risk in being interested.
